Is your service really free?

Yes, it really is! Apartment Giver is a totally free apartment locating service. Working with us does not have any effect on your rent whatsoever.

If your service is free, then how do you get paid?

We get paid a small referral fee or commission by the apartment management companies when you move in- it is paid from their marketing budget. You MUST remember to write Apartment Giver on any guest cards and lease applications at each property that you visit.

Do I visit the properties on my own or do you provide transportation to view them?

We can do both.  We can provide a list of properties with their availabilty, map and directions, etc. to make your solo search easier or we can make an appointment with you and take you around to all of the neighborhoods and apartment communities you would like to see.

Should I use more than one apartment locating service?

All of the locating companies in Houston work with all of the same apartment complexes. No need to call anyone else because we will do a great job for you and find you the perfect next apartment.

If I work with you, am I limited to only a few properties?

Not at all!  We work with nearly all of the thousands of properties in the Houston area, and we will make sure that we give you every property that fits your needs.

What if I want to move to a suburban area of Houston - can Apartment Giver help me with that?

Of course!  While Apartment Giver emphasizes the inner city neighborhoods of Houston, we have extensive experience all over the Houston area.

When is the donation made to the charity of my choice, or my refund is sent to me?

This donation is made or refund is sent immediately upon receipt of the marketing fee by Apartment Giver from your new apartment community.  Typically, this is paid 30 to 45 days from your move in date.

What charity can I request my donation be made to?

Apartment Giver will make a donation in your name to any registered 501(c)3 charitable organization.  It's your passion - your choice!  Apartment Giver does reserve the right to request contact information from you for the charitable organization of your choice if it is not one with which we are familiar.

How do I know Apartment Giver made a donation to the charity of my choice?

Once this donation is made, Apartment Giver will email you a PDF copy of the check and cover letter that we send to the charity of your choice.
